ATT Shortlisted for Skills and Learning Provider Of The Year at the 2026 IOSH Awards

Active Training Team is proud to have been recognised by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) as a finalist for an award that “celebrates organisations that equip learners with the knowledge, skills and confidence to make a real difference in the workplace”.
IOSH is a long-established and well-respected industry body. It’s the largest professional body for safety and health, and also the only one with Chartered status. New this year, the IOSH Awards, are pitched as the new benchmark in the profession, recognising those “delivering outstanding work in line with IOSH’s core principles”.
The awards ceremony took place in the Hilton Bankside, a stone’s throw from the Tate Modern. Five members of the ATT team made the quick change into awards attire at the end of the day, and hopped on a train into central London from our local Deptford station.
We were one of six shortlisted in our category, an award that celebrates outstanding learning experiences in OSH, and we found ourselves among excellent company. We’re immensely proud to have our work in this space recognised by IOSH.

A focus on evidence of impact
In keeping with its reputation as a rigorous industry body, entry to IOSH’s ‘Skills and learning provider of the year’ award category required demonstrable evidence of making “a real difference in the workplace”, with a strong focus on impact and results.
At ATT, we love hearing that participants enjoy our training, and that they find it memorable and practical. But seeing this show up in the data, and knowing that our work is helping keep people safe every day, is what makes us most proud of what we do.
Here’s a preview of some of the numbers we shared as part of our submission to the IOSH Awards:
- 91% of participants at our TRUST Centre felt more confident challenging unsafe behaviour. 94% of participants at our Thrive Centre left feeling like they were leaders when it came to safety. 96% of participants of our Tackling Sexual Harassment Together workshop felt more empowered to take appropriate action.
- Tideway recorded more than 42 million working hours without a life-changing injury following delivery of EPIC across the project workforce. Between 2015 and 2026, more than 25,000 people working on the “Super Sewer” project were trained through EPIC, resulting in zero fatalities or life-changing injuries and £18.75m in independently calculated accident prevention value.
- Across our centres, more than 10,000 participants have completed TRUST, more than 33,000 have completed EPIC, more than 8,200 have completed Thrive.
