Less Than A Minute

Originally commissioned by the Thames Tunnel Tideway project, this multi-media, interactive session serves as a wake-up call to all those working in high-risk industries.

About Less Than A Minute
Less Than A Minute is a dynamic, multimedia safety leadership experience designed to deepen awareness of the importance of working safely at all times, as well as highlighting how our attitudes and actions can influence the behaviour and safety of others.

This 1 hour and 45-minute workshop is a fully mobile experience, that accommodates up to 50 participants at a time. It can be delivered at a venue of your choice—whether that’s a hotel function room, a site canteen, or anywhere in between. While part of the story occurs quayside, the session’s core themes and insights are relevant and applicable to any organisation in which the consequences of getting it wrong can be devastating.

Less Than A Minute mixes filmed action with live drama and facilitated discussion to create a powerful and hard-hitting narrative that shows how upstream decisions can affect downstream behaviours with devastating real-world consequences.

Set on a fictional UK infrastructure project, participants are actively involved from the start, questioning the behaviours on display and talking to the characters in the story to find out what factors are shaping their choices.

Participants get to answer urgent questions around what good effective leadership looks and feels like and leave the workshop with a clear understanding of their role in setting the tone of an organisation’s safety culture, and what the minimum expectations are whilst working in high-risk environments.

Less Than A Minute can be a stand-alone workshop, or can form part of our modular Practical Safety Leadership skills programme.
