ATT Welcomes Safety Leaders to London Centre Showcase

Safety Leadership in Action: An important moment for ATT
Last month marked a milestone for Active Training Team (ATT): We hosted a client showcase at our newly re-launched London Safety Leadership Centre.
25th September 2025 was an energised day for ATT. Invited guests from across major infrastructure projects, utilities, and government departments experienced first-hand the immersive training approach that has already made a significant impact within the high-risk industry sector.
This moment signals a major shift for the Vauxhall-based Centre, which is now fully owned and operated by ATT. Previously delivered in partnership with the now-completed Tideway project, the transition to sole ownership means it opens the door for more organisations to benefit from our world-class training—helping to strengthen safety cultures across even more high-risk environments.
A space reimagined
To mark the new chapter, the London Centre has undergone extensive refurbishment. The immersive environment was recently updated with enhanced AV and technical capabilities for a refreshed look and feel. It remains a purpose-built fully-branded space for immersive learning, now fully aligned with ATT’s identity and vision for the future.
Why immersive training matters
The Safety Leadership Centre delivers ATT’s EPIC Programme as an immersive infrastructure-based training day. Participants experience being in the centre of compelling storylines based around a fictional civil engineering project.
But what sets us apart isn’t just the theatre approach. Our training formats are grounded in neuroscience and behavioural learning principles that are designed to embed long-term impact. The result is a style of interactive learning that deeply engages individuals at all levels. From site workers to senior leadership, our training drives behavioural change that improves safety culture across entire organisations.
Continual improvement is built-in
We operate on a “learn and improve” model. Every single participant that comes through an ATT programme provides real-time feedback. The findings are then channelled back into our creative development process. This ensures our programmes remain relevant, realistic, and relatable.
Training that makes you feel
What makes our immersive method so powerful is its emotional impact. One of our founders explains: “When you’re truly immersed in the story, you get to understand the repercussions when messages that emanate from senior leadership down to the frontline are mixed. You also feel the impact and when this happens, the consequences become very real.”
The storylines shared within the programmes are not abstract case studies. They’re lived, emotional experiences that challenge thinking and inspire change.
The Tideway legacy
Our London Centre was originally built as safety induction training for the construction project of London’s Super Sewer, named Tideway. The EPIC safety induction programme played a crucial role in embedding a safety-first mindset across their workforce. Over 26,000 participants experienced the Centre during the project. Over 42 million+ hours worked without a single fatality. These results speak volumes.
As Andy Mitchell CBE, CEO of Tideway, describes “EPIC is the cornerstone for our culture, practices and success to date.”
Real feedback, real impact
The feedback from participants at the Centre continues to inspire us:
- “Fantastic. Really enjoyed the day. Never experienced training like it, nothing will compare.”
- “Brilliant. Hands down best induction I’ve ever done. Very engaging and insightful.”
- “Great workshop and experience. I’ve been on many large projects and this is the most impactful induction by miles.”
Following completion of the training, 98% of participants agree that regardless of role, everyone has a responsibility for health and safety.
A moment to be proud of
The energy in the room at the showcase was palpable. Clients in senior HSE roles saw the value of what we deliver with many telling us they could immediately see how this style of training could benefit their teams.
We’re incredibly proud of our entire ATT team: from actors, facilitators, and front-of-house management, to the technical operators and commercial leads. It takes enormous collaboration to deliver an experience like this. Our Showcase event demonstrated just how powerfully it all comes together.
Looking ahead
We believe this Centre and our immersive programmes can play a pivotal role in advancing the safety missions of organisations across all high-risk sectors. If you’re serious about improving your safety culture, we’re ready to help.
We are planning a series of Showcase events for senior Health & Safety professionals, Human Resources and Learning & Development leads early in 2026. Please get in touch for more details.
