Understanding Your Rights 

Workplace sexual harassment is never acceptable. It has a serious impact on individuals and on workplace culture.

Recent changes in UK law mean stronger protections are now in place:

  • Employers now have a legal duty to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment of their employees.
  • This includes protecting employees from harassment by other workers, managers, contractors, and third parties.
  • If an employer fails to meet these obligations, they can be held accountable.
