Thrive Safety Leadership Centre shortlisted at 2021 Energy Institute Awards

ATT are delighted to announce that the Thrive Safety Leadership Centre, developed in partnership with renewable energy leaders Ørsted, has been shortlisted at the 2021 Energy Institute Awards. Dermot Kerrigan, Co-Director of ATT said: “Thanks to Ørsted’s vision and investment, ATT has designed a ground-breaking safety leadership centre of excellence on the Humber. We are so pleased to see Thrive gaining recognition from such a prestigious awards scheme as the Energy Institute Awards, and garnering interest across a range of sectors.”

Thrive features a hard-hitting, multi-media scenario which examines the build-up to a fatal incident on a load-out operation and its consequences. Ørsted are inducting all personnel working on the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm project through Thrive. Valuable for people working in renewables, maritime and related sectors, Thrive is a legacy for Hornsea Two and a powerful example of innovation and excellence in the Humber’s rapidly developing renewables sector.

Returning for their 22nd year, the EI Awards celebrate and showcase accomplishments in the energy sector. For this year’s competition, the EI Awards received a record 120 + entries from across 29 countries including India, Pakistan, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Australia, United States, Canada and many European countries. Teams and individuals who entered the competition represent the diversity of the industry and demonstrate that organisations of all sizes are making valuable contributions to the development of the energy sector. Thrive has been shortlisted in the Health and Safety category, which celebrates projects that educate targeted audiences in Health and Safety, Diversity, Environmental initiatives and Social Responsibility.

We send our congratulations to CAN Group and Schlumberger, our fellow shortlisters in the category and look forward to the virtual ceremony in November.
