Thrive Safety Leadership Centre is finalist in the 2020 Humber Renewables Awards

ATT are delighted to announce that the Thrive Safety Leadership Centre, developed in partnership with renewable energy giant Ørsted, is a finalist in the 2020 Humber Renewables Awards. Dermot Kerrigan, Co-Director of ATT said: “Thanks to Ørsted’s vision and investment, ATT has designed a ground-breaking safety leadership centre of excellence on the Humber. We are so pleased that Thrive is already gaining recognition from this prestigious Awards scheme and the renewables sector more widely.”

Thrive features a hard-hitting, multi-media scenario which examines the build up to a fatal incident on a load-out operation and its consequences. Ørsted are inducting all personnel working on the Hornsea Two offshore wind farm project through Thrive. Valuable for people working in renewables, ports and related sectors, Thrive is a legacy for Hornsea Two and a powerful example of innovation and excellence in the Humber’s rapidly developing renewables sector.

Returning for their ninth year, the Humber Renewables Awards celebrates the region’s role in the green recovery and recognises achievements across nine categories. Thrive has been shortlisted in the Excellence in Renewable Skills and Training category. We send our congratulations to HFR Solutions CIC and the University of Hull who are the other finalists in the category and look forward to the virtual ceremony in early March.
