EPIC Shortlisted for NCE Tunnelling Award

The Tideway Employer Project Induction Centre EPIC, conceived, designed and run by Active Training Team in partnership with Tideway, has been shortlisted at the New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Awards for: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year 2017.

These prestigious awards, now in their eighth year, showcase the best in tunnelling expertise globally. This year, three new award categories have been introduced, including Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year. This award is given to any initiative introduced or championed within the tunnelling and/or underground space industry which has enabled a company, project or series of projects to deliver improved performance with respect to health, safety and welfare of the workforce.

“The breadth and depth of excellence in the global tunnelling industry has once again been demonstrated in this year’s awards. This year’s awards finalists are leading the way: improving safety and driving innovation and efficiency. These are great teams delivering great projects.”

Mark Hansford, Editor, New Civil Engineer

The winners will be announced at the New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Awards ceremony on 7th December at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.

We look forward to the results.
