EPIC Shortlisted for NCE Tunnelling Award


The Tideway Employer Project Induction Centre EPIC, conceived, designed and run by Active Training Team in partnership with Tideway, has been shortlisted at the New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Awards for: Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year 2017.

These prestigious awards, now in their eighth year, showcase the best in tunnelling expertise globally. This year, three new award categories have been introduced, including Health, Safety and Wellbeing Initiative of the Year. This award is given to any initiative introduced or championed within the tunnelling and/or underground space industry which has enabled a company, project or series of projects to deliver improved performance with respect to health, safety and welfare of the workforce.

The winners will be announced at the New Civil Engineer Tunnelling Awards ceremony on 7th December at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane.
