Your Choice wins 3 EVCOM Gold Awards

It was an incredibly successful afternoon for us at the 2017 EVCOM Clarion Awards, which took place on Friday 14th July at the Seven Dials Club in London’s Covent Garden. Your Choice, our interactive, multi-media training session was entered into three categories and won Gold in each!

- Gold winner for Education and Training (Event)

- Gold winner for best Innovation (Event)

- Gold winner for best Strategy/Campaign.

The Awards, run by Europe’s largest trade association for the corporate communication and events industries, recognise outstanding performance in corporate social responsibility in film, events and digital. They are judged by an impartial panel of in-house communication professionals and agency producers.

We are delighted with the result and incredibly proud that our work has been recognised in this way.

Steve Garvey, former CEO of EVCOM said: “Active Training Team were awesomely consistent with three trophies, all of them gold for Your Choice, including the coveted Strategy/Campaign award.”

We also sponsored the Health & Wellbeing (Screen) Award and presented the trophy to winners: Burlesque, Beauty and Betty: Lorrainne’s Story by RAW Productions for Marie Curie.

Work on Your Choice began in early 2016 and our team took several months to plan, write, shoot, edit and pilot the session. We are indebted to our expert collaborators for their help and support in the creation of this high-calibre training product. We would like to thank the following people for their expertise and commitment: Sound mix and design: Steve Hellier; Digital film edit: Luke Dabbs at TVC Soho; Promotional video edit: Maxim Young at Gorilla; Camera: Alex Fouracre; Sound: Tim Mills; Director of Photography: Adam Hall; DIT, GoPro, Camera assistant: Adam Spring; GoPro and Camera assistant: George Nindi; Continuity: Alix Middleton; Stunt Co-ordinator: Abbi Collins; Special Effects: Colin Gorry; Event Medical Services for ambulance and crew; Stuntman: Lewis Young; Make up/Special Effects: Chamia Choudhury; Derek Lea: Stunt Co-ordinator/actor.

Finally, we’d like to say a special thanks to our clients Andrew Grant, Ian Burnham, Anthony Robinson and Rob Mair at Transport for London and London Underground for commissioning the project. We felt incredibly lucky to find ourselves collaborating with a client who was so generous with their technical expertise and worked so hard to facilitate the creation of this project.
